Just a wee side mention, my husband and I were in Florence 2017 and purchased a very similar bag directly from an elderly gentleman working out of a very small shop.

We only found this shop by deliberately getting lost within the inter twinning streets. His shop was filled to the ceiling with rolls of beautiful leather and in the corner he sat making bags.

I loved the experience of that purchase and when I saw your website and read your story it bought all those amazing experiences back.

I'm loving my Bella bag. It has form and function - my favourite! Beautifully constructed and entirely practical with the backpack option doing exactly what I'd hoped - it's helping me recover from a neck injury by being able to evenly distribute the weight of my bag across both shoulders, it's great for walking.

I love the handwritten note. A lovely touch. So happy to support your company. I'm not on social media so can't shout it from the rooftops - but I thought you might like to know and I'll certainly be telling people in the old fashioned 'word of mouth' way.

Just a short note to tell you that I adore my new bag, and it reminds me of my month-long trip around Italy about twenty years ago. I went with my parents and we stayed in the charming Hotel Erderli near the base of the Spanish Steps. I bought a beautiful lime green leather handbag (very unusual at the time) from a shop near where we were staying and l wonder if it was the same shop you mention on your website. I have such wonderful memories of Italy and the bag is connecting me to them. Thank you both!
